FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What are your hours?

We are closed January - April.  Please call anytime if you would like to purchase wine.  We can accommodate.
We re-open May 1st.  We are open Wednesday - Sunday, 12:00pm - 5:00pm.  Please check the calendar for special events.

 

Do you host weddings?

No, we no longer host weddings at VRV.  Please give us a call with any additional questions. 

 

What types of events do you host? 

Most!  Private birthday parties, anniversary parties, surprise parties, wedding showers, bridal showers, baby showers, corporate retreats and more!

How do I schedule an event at VRV?

Are you dog friendly?

Dogs have to be approved on arrival to confirm no other guests are afraid or allergic.  Dogs must be leashed at all times. 

 

Do you sell food?

No, we typically do not sell food. However, during our Music on the Deck Series and other special events, we tend to have a local food truck for a few hours or pizza in our Ooni Pizza Oven. Please check our Events Calendar for information on the specific event!

 

Can you accommodate large parties for a wine tasting?

Yes, during our normal business hours, we are able to accommodate large parties.  All of our tables, under the covered deck or on the porch, are first come, first serve.  If you would like to give us a call and let us know you are planning a visit, please do so!  If you would like to book a private event, please contact us for more information.  

 

Do you sell your wine anywhere outside of the vineyard?

Yes, we sell our wines at Discount Wine and Liquor and Dame's Discount Liquor and Wine in Plattsburgh.  You can also purchase wine at our 'Store' through the website.  We can ONLY ship within the state of New York.  Shipping is expensive due to the fact that full wine bottles are heavy!
